First off, while both of the effects granted by the Xyz Galaxy Skill are powerful, the ability to send a “Galaxy” monster from your hand or Deck to your Graveyard to activate one of the effects can be even stronger.
This Skill works with a lot of cards that Galaxy-Eyes Photon Duelists already had at their disposal, as well as cards that were just released in the Heart of Xyz Mini BOX. In exchange, for the rest of the turn, if you Xyz Summon a “Galaxy-Eyes” Xyz Monster with 4000 or more ATK, you can Xyz Summon it simply by using a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon you control as the Xyz Material one time only. The second effect lets you send a “Galaxy” card from your hand to your Graveyard. The first effect lets you add Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord to your Extra Deck from outside of your Deck. Once per turn, you can send a “Galaxy” monster from your hand or Deck to your Graveyard to activate one of two effects. In exchange for this hefty restriction, the Xyz Galaxy Skill brings a lot of power.
The new Xyz Galaxy Skill works as long as your Main Deck contains at least 10 “Galaxy” or “Photon” cards and no monsters other than “Galaxy” or “Photon” monsters.
